Are my B&O H6's fake?
Bang & Olufsen Discussion Forum. Is it possible to obtain or guestimate the year of manufacture from the serial number of any B&O product.
I am a long time thrift store hunter (mostly vinyl, turntables, and musical instruments.) I came across some B&O H6 headphones in the bin a thrift store where I've made some major scores. I've checked them visibly to the best of my ability and they seem legit. The serial number inside the left earpiece allowed me to register them online. I am going to call Bang and Olufsen tomorrow to ask for ways to tell if they are fake but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on reddit in the meantime. Thanks in advance for your help!
